Can there be really peace in the world as the persident of US wants? He wants to dominate the world and then says there should be Democracy, is there really Democracy in Afganistan, Pakistan, Iraq or are they Puppets of US working for them and paid for doing the show as per the norms given by US.
Please give your view, if you feel the same spread this message to US so that the people of US can change their Government.

No, because there will always be conflict. Some country not liking the other or better yet some person not liking the other. So I think it will never happen.

I don't know if it will ever happen. There are so many questions how the world gets along like:
Should we still be in Iraq :

People will never work together, because they always turn on the one who's doing ok. The rulers of oil rich companies don't share the wealth with the peoples, but tell them instead the U.S. stole the oil. It works like a charm. And will lead to WW3.

....they are propaganda geniuses with all that oil money. Heck! even the U.S. people believe it! So yea, there'll be peace, once we all put on our burkas like good little chattel.

In my opinion, democracy sounds a nice word. But in real these so called democracies are proud unto themselves about their democracies, but do nothing in practical and to the people. They are really starving for a genuine democracy. Either these governments are hypocracies or autocracies in the label of biggest democracy. I am talking about the governments that ruled in these democracies. Ask the people of these democracies, whether they are happy with their government, you won't get a positive reply. They willl tell number of problems they'r enccountering with these democracies. Corruption, social bias, inequality, mal practices, criminalising politics, even Hitler will hang his head in shame, if he's alive today. I don't understand what right these people got to preach others?

peace would be a balance of power... with the checks and balances, so it's the people who govern... it's kings and emperors who seek more and more domination, and lie to their people saying there is no wealth, while they live in luxury and spend the resources building great armies...

definitely there would be peace if no transgressions are being done..being in a democratic state of govt. is good...noones dominating any country...the us is just helping those countries who are oppressed by their own govt., i think..lets just be broad minded and evaluate on some events..in our history..

idont there will ever be peace in the world. not in our lifetime, at least. the world has so many different perspectives and points of views that it is almost hard to unite for the sake of world peace.

Dear Asim
There can be no peace in the world as the US President wants but there can be no peace either till all religions learn and accept to exist peacefully with each other. You must give all people freedom to follow their own religion and much not persecute people or force them to convert to the religion of your choice. It cannot be that only your religion is best. You must learn to respect all religions. Only then can there be peace in this world

I live in the US. I don't believe there will ever be peace in the world. Should every country be a democracy? I feel every country should be what they want to be. We don't control Bush and I didn't cast a vote for him to be in office. I feel there are Americans that wouldn't have been for the war had they known the way it would turn out though I was always against it from the beginning.

Peace cannot be defined! you cannot expect people to accept evrything and live passively! there will always be people who want somthing different from others!:P this will always cause disturbances!peace is a far fetched fiction though that man hopes to achieve but knows they never can!
