Oh wow, this question is bringing back memories!! My favourite was My Sweet Audrina. I found it really haunting, and thinking about it still freaks me out about even now! All the books were quite disturbing in one way or another, and I can't quite believe that my mum used to let me read them at quite a young age, but I loved them and couldn't ever put them down.

LOL - I feel the same way. I am still surprised my mom let me read those as young as I was. But I guess it was her way of letting me know the evils in the world without having to tell me herself. And the truth is - I probably wouldn't have listened to her.

I'm not really into psychological thrillers but when I got hold of Flowers in the Attic which a friend recommended, I was hooked. I love the drama in this series. I also collected the Wildflowers series just because one of the titles is my namesake. Haha But my favorite VC Andrews book is not a series. It's My Sweet Audrina, a single. Anybody who has read it?

Oh I LOVE My Sweet Audrina. That was the first 'adult' book I ever read. My mom said if I could read and handle it I could read whatever I wanted. I was only in the 7th or 8th grade at the time and it really effected the way I seen a lot of things.
I haven't read the Wildflower series...yet anyway LOL.

Oh wow!
I haven't read a VC Andrews book since I was in high school....well probably more like 12 oe 13 years ago.
I really enjoyed them when I read them. I still own a couple of the books. Maybe i'll start reading them again.
I only read the flowers in the attic series though.
I'll never forget the doughnuts laced with arsenic!

I think my favorite would have to be the first I read which was the Flowers In The Attic. That was a great series and it was the first of it's kind really. It shocked a whole generation and became very popular because of it. No one had ever seen a book that dealt with such cruelty to children and then to have the books continue to show what came later added to it. They showed how the effects from those earlier years continued to be with them as they got older. I did like the prequel that was done to show the Grandmother's life. It was very good even if I didn't want to like the grandmother. Reading it I was like, no I'm not supposed to feel sorry for her. She's mean and nasty but she wasn't originally. It shows how a person can change and thus effect others. The whole series really made you think while enjoying what you read. Not always an easy combination to do with a series of books but V.C. Andrews pulled it off beautifully.

V.C. Andrews is a fanatastic author. She inspired me and made me think I wanted to be an author too. I love writing but it's hard to find the time to do it. The first book of hers I read was My Sweet Audrina. I was in the seventh or eighth grade and I wanted to read the series because my mom seemed to enjoy them so much and I had seen the Flowers in the Attic movie. She said if I did "okay" (don't exactly know what she meant by that) with My Sweet Audrina then I could read the others. I was hooked. I learned a lot of lessons through the books.

Every V.C. Andrews book i've read I absolutely love. I've read the Flowers in the Attic series, the Shadows series, and I've read the Wings series. Personally their no way I could chose which was better. Even though Ms. Andrews didn't personally write all of them.

I am reading My Sweet Audrina now. I've seen the Movie Flowers in The Attic. I am trying to collect all the books in the series that I have books already for. My husband and I have picked up a few books at thrift stores, and so we are going to get all the books in the series we have for her. Actually I'm trying to collect lots of books anyway.

I would have to say Flowers in the Attic as well. Actually, I just re-read the book this week. If I had to pick a favorite out of the series, though it would be Garden of Shadows.

I don't think I can pick a favorite. I, as a teenager, would start and finish a book in one day. I'm talking about one of the big books. Loved them.

I have V.C Andrew's 4 complete series namely the Casteel Series, Landry Series, Logan Series, Hudson Series. I have the last book in the Orphans miniseries and the Wildflowers miniseries. I also have Flowers in the Attic, unfortunately, I could not find the last four books in all bookstores here in our place. I have Dawn but haven't read it yet and will be buying the other 4 books in the series. I am an avid fun of V.C. Andrews and I can say that her stories were awesome. I have also read her biography and the ghost writer who continued writing her stories. Asidde from the thrill in her stories, they also have lessons that can be applied in real life. For instance, patience, courage, motivation, self-reliance, and more. I can say that her stories is a great part of who and what I am today. One lesson that I learned from her stories is that: you can dream all you want or as high as you wamt but it is still up to you to make that dream come true.
