Preference for books here..old school I believe. Can't take my computer to bed either since that is where I curl up and read til I am sleepy. Books take no electricity and do not shut down or close pages when it has a problem like there could be if I had tea or something. I trade books online and cannot yet trade computers. Can pick it up and travel, my computer is table top and laptop batteries do not support my efforts. So the printed word on paper is my pick.

I much perfer to have hard copies of books.
I read some experts that I print off from online, but that is only through bzzagent when they have a book preview.
Having the hard copies of the books is so much easier to read and waste less paper, cause I couldn't sit there and read a book online without printing it, which waste a lot of paper and ink

i prefer hard copies.its really not possible everytime to turn on your pc & read from it.besides, you can take the book anywhere you want.the same cannot be said about your desktop.

Mobility and size seem to the advantages that make the book a winner

i think both have there good points. With real books, you can hold and feel the book and story, and if you collect books then they look fantastic in your library, on the other hand ebooks are good because they lesson the need to chop down trees for paper, so ebooks are more environmentally friendly.

Certainly hard copy books rule in my opionion. I have trouble reading online books, I don't know why. I can take my hard copy books to work. I can't take my PC. I love to read and learn, but for some reason I get a headache reading online books. I spend hours on the internet but can't read the same thing for more than a few minutes. I don't know what the cause is, I wish I did.

Hard Copy for various reasons. The pleasure and ease is unmatchable. PDF documents are also read but any time it is nice to have a hard copy.

I prefer hard copies becuase only those
1. You can read lying on bed :)
2. You can have your dinner/food and still read comfortably
3. I have the habit of noting certain important lines with a pencil so that I can read out to my friends .. That s easy in hard copies :)
4. I will read books sometimes to get sleep... so in such cases hard copy is the best .....
5. you can be in your comfortable position (which ever position you want to be) while reading if it is a hard copy :)

Hard copy hands down!
Theres nothing that can beat the pleasure of curling yourself up on a couch, with a good book in your hand along with something to munch on. Plus they can be taken alondside during travel and read anywhere.
Online reading makes my eyes kinda weary...
And I never get the feel that I actually read something unless I read it the traditional way, the best way :)

Hard copies..
Becuase, first, you invest you money in a materialic object,
If you have no electrisity because it fell, you can still
read a book using candles, lanterns or the sun light ^^

Hard copies. I have a hard time with sitting at the computer and concentrating on what I read. I can also take a book anywhere and read it any time easier than a computer.
