What Do You Think of BARNEY??? Yes, he is still on television

My children loved it and they still watch a little bit, I think that it is a great show and that you grand daughter will love it!

Barney is a loveable purple dinosaur who comes magically to life and interacts with a group of children, sometimes helped by his dinosaur friends … I think it is a great show for little kids. My kids and now my grand children could watch him all day — if i let them. But Barney has to be one of the most mind numbing of kids videos for adults to watch… Barney can be very annoying, and its the annoyance factor that gets you in the end! I like to watch videos with my grand daughter once in a while to attempt to join in with her learning experience, but I cannot handle that mind numbing dinosaur, or the precocious children helpers for that matter! lol But I do welcome any program that doesn't use violence or sick humour that helps to teach kids. Once your kids get too old for Teletubbies, Barney comes to the rescue! It teaches them all kinds of things, how to have good manners and sing nice Sing-A-Long songs they can repeat all day, every day for the rest of their lives! Do you need help getting your child to clean up after himself, take a bath or cover a sneeze? Never underestimate the power of a purple dinosaur! but his show is also unrealistically happy-go-lucky, and that's a little bad because it doesn't show kids how the world really works! Guess what I bought my grand daughter for christmas.... yes a talking educational Barney and she loves him!!!

No offense...but I am soooo sick of Barney. But I am also sick of Sponge Bob too. I am so grateful for cable. We have may children's programs to choose from. And my children get bored watching the same shows all the time, so it gets change frequently. Currently it is the Handy Manny. LOL Have you seen this show? The voice is Manny is Wilmer Valderrama. ha ha The guy from the 70's show and Yo Mama on MTV. I knew it was his voice when I heard it but I just had to double check myself. :) LOL

For little kids I think it is a great show. It teachs many morals and of course basic education levels. My neice when she was little loved it. Yes as an adult it seemed sickening sweet but for her it was wonderful. I liked the fact that they had kids that were all races, gender, sizes and even some with handicaps. That was a valuable lesson I think for some kids to learn about. That it doesn't matter whats on the outside but what is within. It's a cute show that if the child likes it my thought is let them watch it.

Hi, i like barney's songs and dances. The only things i would maybe change on the show would be Baby Bop, who should be getting older a little faster, and i would put more about other cultures from around the world.

Oh lord barney! I just hate the show now but believe me i spent my years with him when my kids were little. I don't me this is an offensive way towards nobody but i have some friends that say barney turned their sons into homosexuals but they meant it in a joking way.

My granddaughter just watched it other day for about 15 minutes. She is one. It is hard to believe 15 years ago I was running around town trying to find a talking Barney for my daughter and now my granddaughter appears that she is going to like him. I gave her Pablo from the Backyardigans for Christmas. Now he is annoying. I never saw the show but if it is anything like the toy, I never want to see it.
