Naming your children!

What is it with people who name their kids some god aweful names... An example, Madonna... Rocko & Lurdas(sp) Gwenith Patltrow ... Apple.. Like seriously... If your parent's aren't famous.. Could you really get away with all these "creative" (and I use that term lightly) get away with it? Think about what you name your kids! They will suffer for it.. That's like Johnny Cash's song.. A Boy Named Sue! Gah! I think some people are just.. well.. incompetant!

It may be a privilage, But do you think it's fair to put a burden on a child of a name like that? Where the child will be ostricized at school? and eventually work places?

I ain't sure why but it happens. My daughters names are Kiana Summer Sky and Kanisha Dawn and i like them and i don';t think that they can be teased for them in the near future!

From another perspective...I have to teach those children and maybe one day I will say their name right. If you are going to name your kid something wierd, good for you, but spell it how it sounds please!
