Who makes the best video cards: ATI or Nvidia? Why do you think so?

I see you are new of myLot, welcome! I think that there is not a real winner, because there is a competition between them, and they always put on the market new 3d fast videocards. Looking at DX9 cards, the best is x1950pro now I think, because ATI has the better quality, has the AVIVO technology and images are sharper than those of nvidia's cards. I think Ati's driver support is better than nvidia's one. Thinking to an higher price, you could buy the Nvidia GX2, that has 2 gpu on the card that work togheter...but it's too expensive...and with that money you can buy a DX10 card...infact nvidia is the first on the market to sell a fully DX10 card, the new 8800GTS and 8800GTX, the fastest card on the market! 8800 is faster than a GX2 card too!
Anyway...I don't like to spend more than 100-150€ for a 3D videocard..

Thank you. I agree with you on the price of cards. I could never afford a $400+ video card. Why would anyone ever need to spend that much on one anyway?

well ..on my opinion i think nVidia makes the best video cards, but the Ati `s software is better than the nVidia`s software...I think that nVidia wil be the best video cards producer..and the most popular
