Unfortunatley you mentioning all these names for this game may actually encourage some children to try it. Children think they are invincible. They are curious, and will want to know what it feels like. I typed the phrase choking game into msn.com and came up with your CBS news story. This is written just like a how to. Now kids that never would have heard of such a thing have been told exactly how to do it! I think this kind of article is very irresponsible on the Internet, as it gives kids ideas.

I have played this game before and I can honestly say that it gives you a buzz,rush or whatever you want to say like nothing else.I was stupid by playing it and I have seen people go into convulsions because of it.I agree it should not be played and all kids should be warned about the risks of it. I am sorry to hear about one of your children dying from it it is a real shame and something that could have been prevented by some knowledge about what it can do.

I am so sorry to hear about your child, I have heard about this game a little, on Oprah and read a few articles. I don't understand why children want to do this. My daughter is 10 and we have discussed this and she says she would never play such a game. I still worry and hope she will do the right thing.
