Obviously it's a game, a risk, like the lottery...like the rodeo, the longer you stay on the crazy bull (the longer you hold onto a soaring stock) the cooler you look (the more money you make). But if you stay on too long, (stay with the stock too long)you could fall off and break your face (you could lose everything to greed. My friend had an assignment where she got a fake bank account and was told to invest in stocks for four months, she didn't do too well, but some people in the class make crazy money. You have to find the right stock, watch it constantly, and diversify, buy as many stocks in different markets as you feel comfortable doing. It's usually no get rich quick deal, but if you stick with it, I'm told you can make alot of cash.

I personally do not do stocks. However, my husband does. He says it's not luck but strategy. You have to pay attention and know what companies to look for. You also need to know the difference between high risk/low risk. I have no idea what he is talking about, but it sounds good. And he's cute when he talks all smart! hehe

I would first have to have money to invest. But, if I ever get to that point, the stock market is still a good investment.
