The Best of the 80's?

My friends and I at work were trying to find 10 good things about the 80's. It lead to a hilarious conversation about what was good and what was not (Michael Jackson... bad. The Terminator... good.). What do you think was good about the 80's?

Definately the cartoons!!!!! Smurfs, She-ra, my little pony, rainbow bright, OH MY GOSH!!! The popples!!!!! Strawberry Shortcake, Rose Petel place!!!!! Aww... I miss the 80's!

Me, I was born in the 80's. Fashion in the 80's was AWFUL, and I can't stand the big hair bands. Johnny Depp got his break in the 80's, and he's wonderful, so if you can count him then I would definitely say he was in the top 10 good things of the 80's. Anything else awesome about the 80's?? Hmmm, the only other thing I can think of is the movie "The Princess Bride".
