Cancer Question

I am wondering if there is one test that can scan for all types of cancer. My husband has lost 3 members of his family in the past 3 years. We lost his uncle in November of 2004 of pancriatic cancer, his grandfather this past January passed away of lung cancer and we just lost his aunt to brain and lung cancer. If anyone has any knowledge of this subject please inform me. I am worried about my husband since he is high risk and so are my kids.

A friend of mine just recently had a test done where she was put into a big scan machine, I think it is relatively new here in Australia and she told me it is good to know there in no cancer in the whole of her body...so maybe...
