How you spend your money?

Are you a compulsive spender,or do you hold on to your money as long as possible? Would you rather use charge accounts than pay cash? How do you spend your money? sharing your opinion here...pl.

I use to be an emotional spender. Everytime I would get upset, I would go out and get me something to make myself feel good. Now I got rid of that habit with the help of God. I save my money and invest it into something that will gain interest. I only have one minor charge card that I use occasionally and on something that I can pay off the balance quickly. I think you should spend cash on everything so you can see where the money is going cause using a debit card you can't see it so that makes it easier to spend more. Well that's my opinion...take care!

I am very glad you can get rid of it.Psychologists often use a method called 'behaviour therapy' to help individuals solve their personality problems. in the same way, they can help pepole who feel that they have problems with money: they give them 'assignments.' if a person buy s somthing in every store that he enters , for instance, a therapist might teach him self-discipline in this way:on the first day of his therapy ,he must go into a store. stay five minutes. and then leave. on the second day, he should stay for then minutes and try something on. on the third day he stays for fifteen minutes, asks the sales-clerk a question. but does not buy anything, soon he will learn that nothing bad will happen to him if he doesn't buy anything and he can solve the problem of his compulsive buying.

i will use charge accounts,its really convinent and much safer than pay cash, how about you?
