I think that you do sweat theres just no way to tell if you are because you are surrounded by water! What do you guys think?

I was stumped reading your question and I had no idea what the answer was so I looked it up and here is what I found:
"People often ask if they sweat in a swimming pool?
Regardless of where you exercise, if you get hot enough, you will sweat.
Sweat produced in a pool or any water for that matter does not cool you effectively because it does not evaporate, it just rinses off.
Body heat lost in water is mainly due to convection and conduction. "

I think we sweat, but we can't notice that while we swim. Sweat is output of the effort and swimming is a physical activity.

Yes, I think you sweat when you are swimming, but like you said it more than likely rolls off in the water. This is a good question, but I think that since swimming is an exercise, and you are exerting yourself, using your muscles, etc. that yes you do...I know when I get out of a pool after a few laps, I immediately bead up and feel hot...the water makes you feel cooler, but I dont think that it is actually cooling off your body...it's fooling you!!LOL.

Yes, you can sweat while swimming. Try doing water aerobics sometime and you will notice on the parts of body out of the water that you will sweat. Of course you will not feel it on the parts of body that are submerged as the water in the pool washes it away. That's part of why pools have to have chemicals though is to balance out the ph and to clean it from oil secretions and sweat secretions from people's skin.

I noticed not only once that while I was in water, I was sweating on the upper part of my body not submerged in water.
Is there any scientific proof on this?
