People Lighting Bushfires? Why would you do that

as i watch the news, ive noticed lots of bushfires in my home state, some lit deliberately, why would you do such a thing and what punishment should offenders recieve?

Have no idea why they do it, it is an illness, as some like to do it for the attention they receive through the media, gives them some kind of a buzz! Sending them to prison, well we all know that in our country the prisons are likened to motels, but I would definately put them in front of the victims of these fires!

I don't why they do it but it is digusting! I don't know why anyone would be so cruel! People who do those things should be shot! I hope they get whats coming to them
