Do you think a neighborhood is affected by ethnicity?

The city I live in is mostly white "americans", there are some other groups, fairly small, the neighborhood is quiet, but very isolated, so even those from other ethnics groups have to comform. Though things are different in neighborhoods for other ethnic groups prevailing, they are more interpersonal oriented, either more loud, or cluster together without letting others in.
