I go to a Baptist University and my Biology professior teaches evolution as fact. Being brought up taught that evolution was theory, I am trying to keep an open mind, but a lot of it goes against what I believe. Do you believe evolution is fact or fiction? Do you believe that some of the idea's are true but don't believe we came from monkey's? How old do you think the world really is?

It is still considered theory, but please please please listen to your Biology prof.
And evolution doesn't say we come from monkeys. It says we share a common ancestor with monkeys. Well, and not so much monkeys as much certain types of apes.
Anyone who tells you that the world is only a few thousand years old and that dinosuars aren't real would be yelling about how the world is flat if they were born 500 years ago.
Have faith. There is nothing wrong with believing in something. Just understand that no one is always right. Science has disproved some theories and the church has fought things that they have since changed stance on.
Galileo Galilei was put in prison for saying that the earth revolved around the sun. To argue that the earth doesn't revolve around the sun as various sections of scripture suggest would get people laughed at.
