Hi! The stock market is a scary thing. Yes, people have made money, but they have lost it just as quickly. I have a relative who used to do "day trading," buying stocks then selling them for a quick profit. She did very well for a while, then she lost a bundle. There isn't really any way to know which way the stocks are going to go. I suggest you find a good broker who can explain to you how the stock market works and give you good guidance if you want to start investing. I personally have been happy with Edward Jones.
