what kind of jewelry do you like? gold or silver?

I like both, and have both. In the north east, gold is worn a lot more. In the south west, silver is worn mostly. What do you like best?

I like rings. I only ever wear one necklace. years ago my son bought me a cross necklace that has 1/2 carat of diamonds and I wear that all the time. I like earrings but I can only wear hypo allergenic earrings or my ears get sore. thanks for your response. I did not know that in the northeast we prefer gold and that the southwest prefers silver.

I don't wear much jewellery on a regular basis; but my engagement and wedding rings are both 22 carat gold. My husband doesn't like me wearing artificial jewellery but that doesn't stop me as I have many diamante sets I like to wear when I dress up which everyone else admires LOL. I have very few silver items and tend not to wear them as my mother always said it's bad luck to wear gold and silver at the same time and as I can't remove my engagement and wedding rings, it's quite difficult as that is one superstition that I do believe in for some strange reason :) So I guess I'd have to say gold is the metal I prefer. x

I like silver better. not sure why, I just do. But it has to be sterling sivler or it turns my skin green. The same with fake gold. I don't wear that much jewlery anyhow. I loose it more then what I like to admit.

Gold, especially necklaces. They just seem to give that certain elegant look I like. Silver rings are pretty, but only for really special occasions.

I personally prefer white gold, i think it is very attractive, and makes jewelry more interesting.

I prefer white gold. I don't like the gold color... I like the color of silver - but white gold looks like silver and doesn't tarnish. I like rose gold too.

I would love to have both gold and silver. I got only silver necklace now. I prefer to wear silver accessories since it blends well in any outfit and i can use it anytime anywhere. Gold jewelries are more attractive to snatchers. It would be horrible to lose one.
