1. you should only wash your hair every two-three days. washing it excessivly stips it of its natural oils
2. Try using Du Gro or Colestraol. You can find it in any urban store. This should only be done once a week and it is a deep conditioner
3. When you do wash your hair you should use always use conditioner and leave it in for two- three min.
4. Try not to use a blow dryer or curling iron or strait iron on it too much and if you do have to use one make sure it is one of the positive ion or cool heat ones. excessive heat damages the ends and causes them to become dry and split
5. leave in conditioners and defrizzers are great if you have really dry hair. and they can be used on a daily basis.
6. at least once a month use a diffrent kind of shampoo. When you use the same shampoo for an extended time no matter what the brand or what it says on the front a build up forms on the hair. when you rotate brands it cleanses your hair and will leave it shinnier.
7. my personal favoite shampoo is sunsilk. I have used everything from expensive salon shampoos to the cheap store brand shampoo's and this one leaves my hair in the best condtion... the upside. this shampoo is very cheap. usually around 2-5 dollars a bottle.
