Do you know swiming? If yes, can you swim in the river?

yes i can swim,but i've never swimmed in a river i have learned swimming in a pool.many of my friends said that it is lot more different swimming in a river than swmming in a pool so i am about to give it a try.

I know how to swim, but I've only gone swimming in pools before. I've never tried swimming in a river. I'd probably be too nervous with the current!

Swimming is one thing that I regret not having learnt at all. I know it can be life-saving at times and definitely a lot of fun. Maybe I can still learn it sometime and enjoy it! And I wish I never get stuck in a situation when it is necessary to save my life!
