What I really want for Christmas~ I love snow, I want snow... If it doesn't snow this year, I'm going to be upset. It didn't snow last year. What kind of Winter Holiday is that? Not good, not good at all. My favorite part about snow varies. I love to play in the snow. Snowball fights with my brother. Sledding. Building Snow people. Just walking through the snow. Taking pictures! Yes, I go picture crazy with snow and ice. And they all turn out so beautiful. Since I live back here in the Mountains. I could turn so many of my pictures into puzzles. *Sighs* As soon as we get our first good snow. Then I'm going to take pictures. Tons of them, and share them with you all. Snow, Snow, Snow! When is the last time YOU had a white Christmas? What do YOU like doing in the snow? Or what do YOU do indoors when it snows you in? Come on, Tell me!

Well I live in Australia so to answer one of your questions - I've never had a White Christmas :). I've only ever travelled to the snow a couple of times and once I figured out how to walk in it without slipping over on the icey patches I discovered it was pretty cool. It's odd really, we see all these Christmas cards with pictures of snow-topped houses and trees, Christmas movies where there's plenty of snow etc and yet for me, the ideal christmas is spent playing around in a swimming pool in the afternoon or heading down to the beach in the evening :-) I hope you get the snow you're hanging out for.

I suppose that does make things a little different doesn't it? If I lived in a warmer climate, I probally wouldn't be so distressed over the lack of a White Christmas. But, it's just so... It has been more years than I'd care to admit since we last had a White Christmas here. When I was a little girl we had a snowy Christmas every single year, except for one. And that year we went up into the mountains, where they have a skii resort. And took a handful of their fake snow, made it into a snowball, and took it with us to my Grandparents so that we'd all have snow for Christmas. After that, it snowed a few more years consistantly and then just... Stopped! Now we usually get rain, and slush which turns into dirty ice. Not that pretty crystal, clear looking ice. But the sort that has mud and gunk in it so it's all brown and dirty looking. =-(

I MISS snow. I moved to Florida 8 years ago and have not seen snow since. I used to live up near DC and have such fond memories, even the dirty stuff after a few days and having to drive to work in it ;) I'm taking my daughter, who have NEVER seen snow, North for Christmas. You can guess what my wish is. :)

Oh my! Then I'm going to have to start wishing even harder that people get snow for this winter holiday. Of course, a lot of areas already have it. And I live up near DC! I'm in Shenandoah Valley, VA. We don't have any snow in my part of the valley, if any part of it... Not too sure. But some of my online friends who live out in the West have been complaining that they already have snow up to their knees and higher. =-( I do hope your daughter gets to see her first snowy day, and that it's the great, fun, play in it sort of snow!
