What if gadgets could talk to us?

Our gadgets aren't very smart. Telephones, stereos, microwaves -- and most of all, personal computers --need individual operating instructions to do their jobs. These mindless household servants coexist but never coordinate their chores. All told, it's an inefficient life. What if it was not so? what if they could talk to us? What changes do you fathom in that scenario?

Have you ever seen the refrigerator that does talk to you AND keeps track of food that you run out of? I can't imagine how expensive it is.. but I wouldn't doubt we will see gadgets that can talk to us coming in our world!

they all dny have any feeling s ,emotions and love ..and if they would have talked to us thn we would be smwhere else thn the todays situation ,

Yes, I think that day is not too far when gadgets will indeed talk to us. That day is coming baby. The speed of technological developments have been awesome. I think if and when gadgets do talk to us. There would be no need to elarn all these complicated software technologies. We could jsut talk to them.

i m not that big a gadget freak.....but if it's possible for gadgets to interact wit us then that wud be artificial intelligence........that wud really freak me out...

It would be cool if gadgets could talk to us. Imagine this computer could talk. Ahhh.
"so what do you want me to do for you?" asked the PC.
"I want to go to mylot."
"Okay. Done." said the PC.
"Computer type this in for me ... blah blah blah".
We would let the computer do everything and just lay on the sofa watching TV. Sweet...

its not gonna take much time for that to happen its gonna come out soon .. then i will not even go to the loo i will ask loo to come over to my place might be even this would be possible.. ha ha
