Which preferred rally auto Mitsubishi or Subaru?
I prefer above all the Mitsubishi the series Lancer Evolution ix.
The finality of the external line of an auto is not alone that of “to like”, but above all that to express a promise on the contents. Lancer Evo IX is an auto that keeps the promises.
Every aesthetical detail, from the new back spoiler in fiber of carbon of dimensions increased to the new sketch of the anterior and back bumpers, is studied for increasing the performances and to distinguish, also stylistically, Lancer Evo IX from the preceding generations.
Also in the design of the insides the form is to the service of the function. On board, Lancer Evo IX is of an essential beauty that gives maximum prominence to the convenience. The seats in skin and signed alcantara Recaro and the pedaliera in aluminum justly offer for instance a sporting look, but also refined. And anchor, the beautiful flying Momo with black races is impeccable in functionality. Finally the logo “Lancer Evolution” in front of the gear shift it adds personality.

Well considering the STI is a rally class above the evo and yet performs worse, I'd go with the Mitsubishi EVO, especially the new EVO IX... It has the new mivec engine which totally improves the previous 4g63....

Id have to disagree with all the above stating Mitsubishi until you have actually owned one. I currently own a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX and love it, but before this I had a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 with 47,000 miles and was not happy at all. The quality and finishing in the interior is very cheap and flimsy in the Evolution. The car has a great feel to it and is super fast, but if anyone has watched rally on a natural basis they can see that Subaru wins most of the competitions not Mitsubishi. The subaru all around is better to drive, makes less road noise, is comfortable, and still has a Horizontal 4 Turbocharged engine which makes plenty of power. My evolution, as well as my friends he had a 2003 red evo with around 60,000 miles had many problems, which the warranty seemed to not cover. The only good point I can pull out for the EVO would have to be it has a monster engine, the 4g63 Cast Iron Block is a beast and was very nice modify. In the end I would rather own the Subaru, until you have owned both you cant accurately make a decision, so these are my 0.02 cents.
