What will be your new-years resolution for 2007 and why?

Will you make a trivial one like 'less chocolate' or something serious and life-changing, like getting a new job or starting some training? Do you actually intend to carry it our properly over the whole year or is it just a trivial thing that doesn;t matter?

The only resolution i make and fulfill every year is to save money for my future.

Good plan!! I should save more, but I always have a little put away 'just in case'.

I am going to learn French! But a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am trying to move to the French speaking part of Canada!

That's a good one! I thought of learning a language, but really don't have the time or any reason to practice. I bet if you learn a little before you go, you'll pick it up really well once you move, as you will naturally practice all the time.

Me too gabs, me too! I tried in October when my wife had the baby, but only managed to cut down to 5 a day or so. I tried again from yesterday morning and it was complete heel coping with a hangover AND withdrawl!

This time I'm going to do everything I say I'm going to do. I want to quit smoking again, and lose over 100 lbs by the end of next year. I'm going to take better care of myself and I'm going to get my husband to do the same. My daughter is worried about him and so am I. We are both going to get him to lose weight and quit smoking to. (As he would say when pigs fly) I will stick to mine because I promised someone who was near and dear to my heart and I never went back on My promises I made him.

I dont remember the last time I made a New Years resolution. May seem funny, but I never make any. Just like that - guess it feels good to know that when you dont make any, you cant break any. Hope I'm not the only one who's like that!

That's a bit of a shame, if you don't try you can never succeed. It doesn't really matter if you make a resolution and then break it. What counts is that you attempt to change something for the better, whether it be trivial or outstanding.

Are you celebrating new year or auditioning for Miss World? Good luck with that. It's a challenge, but I'm sure if anybody can do it, you can!
