We get emails when our friends start a discussion or respond to our discussions. I think we should get a email when we post a response as well. Then we can keep those and refer later. What do you guys think. Some time back we got emails with the entire discussion. I think its a better way.

I think it would be a good idea to get e mails informing us when a discussion has a response to it, I like to reply to all my postings and sometimes they get overlooked because I have a lot of discussions going. I wonder if there is a way to address this to mylot?

I do like to get the emails when people respond to my post. Like you said to read how someone responds to you. Its interesting. Now whether I'll respond to it or not is another story. I do like the on / off option to getting emails from friends when they start discussions.

I had all of the notify turned on for my friends, then found that my inbox was clogged full of things from myLot and nothing else could get through, and as soon as I deleted one email from myLot another would come through. So, I went in and turned all of them off, selectively choosing which ones stayed on. The ones that are nofity on, are those who do respond to my discussions regularly.
When I come to myLot the first thing I do is to check the discussions I have started and then make a comment to everyone who responds. It does take a little time, but I think that if someone responds to my discussions, then the least I can do is acknowledge that.
After that I start to go through my list of friends and try to respond to at least one of their discussions every day, although sometimes time is a factor and I don't get to all of my friends. If that happens, then I start with the ones I didn't do the day before when I come back here. This, I think is the fairest way and also my friends can see that I am responding to their discussions. Hopefully, they will do the same for me. :)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. When we post a response, doesn't the person to whom we are responding to get an email? What do yu mean, ...we got emails with the entire discussion.?

hi,THIS IS THE METHOD I AM ADOPTING WITH SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTIVE..FOR THAT WE BOTH SHOULD BE ADD FRIENDS.....THEN MAKE CHANGE AS notify on NEAR THE USER NAME PHOTO,ADDED IN YOUR FRIENDS PAGE...IT IS MUTUALLY BENEFITED AND TIME SAVING..UNNECESSARY WE ARE WASTING MORE TIME IN SEARCHING DISCUSSIONS....
