Coca-cola: the secret ingredient?

the secrtet ingrediant you are talking about is locked away in avault in atlanta the headquarters of coke. it is believed that there are only 2 people in the world who know the ingrediant, and they arent in the same place ever. this atleast what i have heard

There are not secret ingredients! Every chemistry laboratory can knows what are the ingredients. The secret is the dosage of every ingredient! Pepsi and Coke are different due the dosage of the same ingredients. Another example is the Ferrero Nutella (chocolate with nuts). Other brands tried to copy this product using the same ingredients but they don't exactly know how to mesaure out them.

I can not say what actually the ingradient is. But a long years back(about 30 years) I have read in newspapers' quiz that the formula of coca-cola is 7X. Perhaps a coded formula. No doubt coca-cola is unbeatable by its taste and flavour world-wide. A few persons according to you may be knowing the product that makes coca-cola very tasty, but its actual composition is a secret and not known to public, even after so many decades of popularity of this most demanded soft drink world-wide. It would seem to me that a chemist that had a bottle of Coca-Cola should be able to take the Coca-Cola into a laboratory and analize it to find out the ingredients. Surely the secret ingredients can not be that big a secret.

This is a strange thing that I know for the first time while I adores coca-cola (not pepsi) I always buy coca-cola and I drink 1 litre everyday and I never heard this only from you now.

I never knew anything about it either. They sounds the same to me from one cola into another. But i just drink one type of cola anyway...LOL.

When Cocal Cola comes to Sri Lanka what is imported is the concentrated essense and a recipi for the preparation. Coca Cola is prepared on this recipi and bottled in Sri Lanka. But I have heard that only 4 people know the recipi and that they will never travel together. But now it has caught the market and even if the recipi is out no one can easily compete with them.
