Centuries back, there used to b a shepherd who would always help the poor and the needy, who had made the well being of humanity his goal.Yes iam talkin about the lord Jesus Christ.Recently,Mother Teresa was beatified,She's been proclaimed a saint, don't u think, that in future this generous lady would be attached to stories in which she healed the poor with her touch, turned water into whine, and the like???and further in future, she might even be called god.For all the good they did they deserve to be christened so,no doubt.
but i was just wondering, isn't this that is happening??
don't u think yestrday's philanthropists are today's gods??isn't that how god's created???

As regards religious matters, for Christians and those who believe in God, the Father who is in heaven, the basis must be the Holy Bible alone. That's the only way to avoid making gods. Actually God prohibited making gods. He says I alone is God.

There were lots of healers around at the time of jesus. One of them is appolonius of tyana. If u look many called him also as od.but one thing that surprise me is most of them come to india to learn and afterwards go back to their place and preach.even jesus is considered to have come here and his tomb is supposed to be in kashmir.
I prefer to call many gods as heroes and nothing else. Its people who consider them as god.Donno why,but many indians consider sachin as god.might be in the future people will think there used to be a god in india who could do magic with a woodden bat .Yes you are right its common men who is being portrayed as god.
