Are lyrics important in a song?

I think Of course the lyrics to a song are important. Lyrics are not the total driving force in a song, but without good lyrics, a song just doesn't cut it in my book. But i wanna know what you think.

The beat of the song has to be good too, but the lyrics are what make the wong. I even go as far as listening to the lyrics of the songs that my daughters listen to so that I can monitor their listening.

yes i think lyrics plays a very important role in the quality of a song.it matters so much.

For me, i love songs for their lyrics. I usually look and love songs with meaningful and heartwarming words. I bet that attracts people most to buy their albums.

i think yes, the first feeling you have from a song is for music but lyrics make the half of a song
