ether has to be the best battle record of all time. However I did like the LL and Canibus beef records as well, but ether tops them all.

You know what... I forgot all about that whole beef that they had! That was good, but I agree that ether tops both of them.

ether is a classic. Im a little dissapointed in nas because he didnt perform it at his concert today. Forget about the beef being squashed i still want to hear a good song

When you think about a dis track, you had to look at (a) Did it destroy that opponent's credibility as a artist, and (b) Did it end a career? Now my all- time favorite is "No Vaseline" by Ice Cube, because NWA didn't have a response, and they broke up soon after. Enuff said.

My favorite diss track is "Ether" as well. Nas straight murdered Jay-Z on that track, and Jay made that even more apparent when he came back with that super wack "Super Ugly" joint. That was just a desperate attempt to take one final stab at Nas, and well, we saw who still won in the end. "Ya lost one!" Don't it get twisted though...I love Jay too.

Its gotta be Ether! Or Hit Em' Up. Also into the whole 'Bridge wars' saga 'The Bridge is Over' by BDP - absolute classic! 'The bridge is over...the bridge is over...'

I liked how 50 cent killed Ja Rule's whole career but then there was nothing exceptional about the disses. However my favorite diss track has got to be 2pac and the Outlawz with "Hit em Up" - the fact that they used the same beat that Biggie and Jr Mafia used for "Get Money". That was nasty.

Missinghim,
I'm not gonna dip in rap because I dibble in it, however in R&B, I'm gonna go with two if you don't mind.
"Heard It All Before"- Sunshine Anderson
and the all time classic,
"Call Tyrone"-Erykah Badu.

My favorite diss track is 300 Bars And Runnin' by The Game. He rips apart G-Unit and takes shots at Roc-A-Fella too.
