Scientists have already started different ways of communicating with the brain. Eg.. artificial eyes for the blind (Not very effective though) it is tested and proven to be working so this opened a horizon for a lot of prossiblities of talking to the brain. its not going to be long befor your brain's contents w'd be actually put into a harddisk. The Matrix movie is just the icebreaker for the things yet to come...
