No i didn't agree with u coz i have an account on gmail and i regularly use it.Its speed is same as all other branded malis like yahoo,hotmail,etc.

I never find gmail running slowly...it depends on your internet bandwidth..i am using 256 kbps. and gmail runs kool on my machine.
