Ever have yours published? Someday do you want to?Someday I'd like to. I also write short stories and song lyrics.. But It's all personal, nothing has ever been published. It's Just for me..And those I allow to read it.. Here is one of my own..~*Footprints On My Heart*~ The bittersweet kiss of the last kiss goodbye Aching heart as each tear falls from my eyes Waiting for the day I'll hold you again Holding myself together, my will so thin Watching as you walk away it's the hardest thing I've ever had to do Until the day I am again with you My heart leaves me with each footstep apart Each one leaving a footprint upon my heart Having so little time left Every moment a gift Such bittersweet longing Each moment worth prolonging My eyes well with the tears of missing you They fall in a flood, not just a few My body aching for your touch My heart missing you so much Painstaking footsteps that we take apart Each one leaving a footprint upon my heart I watch you glance back at me time and again It seems that time is not our friend I wish you could stay For my heart breaks and it takes my breath away To watch you leave me if only for a while I have lost the courage to smile To be brave and not cry While my heart dies inside It is was my last gift to you As our moments dwindle past, down to a few I smile for you as we pull apart All the while each moment your away, Leaves a footprint on my heart... ~*Lissa*~ Care to share some with us of yours?
