I'm not Christian, so I know a little about Christianity, but I think that Jesus Christ chose 12 men as apostles, so nuns have less powers than priests. It's a question of interpretations. Jesus Christ never said that men must have more powers than women, but the first popes and priests preferred this interpretation, and so women are discriminated in their faith.
To me this is a sexist choice, men always feared women, and Church is going on with this kind of fear.

just the way how it goes.. do you like to be a pope? hehe,, well maybe it gives more priority to men than women when it comes to that issue.

i believe it's because the pope is the follower of peter, one of the Apostle, and that is a man because the apostles were too, it's a cultural thing, but i think it's slowing changing
