He said "bub". I'm so excited. He is seven months old and I adore him. And I adored hearing a word, any word come out of his cute little mouth. I've just rang around to tell everyone. I want to share it with the world! He's sooo clever! =D How old was your child when they first spoke and what was their first word? How did you react? I have run around like a nutcase squealing and skipping, the poor kid is probably going to be too scared to utter another sound for the rest of his life the way I have carried on LOL. I thought most babies said "dad" first, so I have been concentrating on saying "Dadadadad" and "Mumumumumum" to him a fair bit. But then he comes out with BUB. Yippee! Woo hoo! Sooo excited =D !!!

They are gorgeous when they giggle. And sleep, and smile, and cry, and snuggle, and drink, and squeal, and crawl...and do anything at all to be honest. ALL babies are gorgeous ALL the time :D

Awwww.... He must be reeeeeally cute! I don't have kids yet. But I have friends who tell me that when their kids started talking, it feels really good. And when the littles call "mom" or "pa", they will feel that all the sacrifices they have made, be it financially, time, energy or anything, it was worth them all...

I have 2 sons, one 2 1/2 yrs old and another is 2 months old. I can't really remember what my elder son's first word was but I was equally exicited. In fact now that he is 2 and a half, his vocabulary is exploding and we just think that he is a genius..hehe You will just continue to be amazed with your baby's development and adore them all the way. It is just getting exciting now at 7 months. It's just wonderful to see that you love and enjoy your son so much.

Tell your son that 'bub' is a good first word. It can be said in public, so you can tell many people about it. Hopefully, your son will never meet bubba.

Hearty Congratulations ! I can understand your feelings and excitement! Its a dream, desire and hearlty like of every parent to hear their kids first word all by themselves first ! Unfortunately I couldn't hear my sons first word ! Its really a thing to be happy and be merry as many of kids especially males they do take extra ordinary long time to utter their first word ! Your so uttered his first word when he is just seven half months ! Thas really a nice thing ! You must be having his record book ! Get the word entered in his record book and paste a picture of his also along with it. These things are future treasures ! I can tell this because my son is now about 20 yeras and when ever I see his recors book and read the things I find myself lost into the nostalgic world ! Once again hearty congratulations and May God blees you and your Kid with the best of his choices !
