Ultimate bet is an online poker game site. it has all sorts of poker games, that you play online with real people. you haev the option to play for money, or play for free. i am not good enough to play for money yet, but i think its so cool that you can play online for free as well with real people. its a great learning mechanism! try it out. or let me know if you have already and what you think!

i have run into a few sites that are like that (i will not name them, but they are out there).
I usually prefer to play big sit-n-go cash games in brick and mortar houses, especially in the casinos. another benefit is that many casinos offer bonuses for certain hands, so it's more attracting to pull quads when there's a $100 bonus attached to them.

I have played on ultimatebet for about 4 years now and it's the only poker site I play on I like the free tournys they have there but I play for real money there also and its alot more exciting.I normaly only play $5,$10,and,$20 tournaments but every now and then when i get my bankroll up I get into $100 and $200 tournys.Just recently i made a final table on $100 tourny and got $800 for 5th place.I have cash out many times and have never had any problems recieving my checks.My name is TEDDY2CARDS on ub. Yes and alot of sites have stopped taking u.s deposits due to the unfortunate law that passed(unlawful internet gambling enforcement act)However there are alot of loopholes in the new law and some site like ultimatebet have takin advantage of that so they still welcome u.s. deposits.GOOD LUCK AT THE TABLES!

i've played UB as well. I think they are one of the better sites on the internet, I loved playing the free tourneys there.
a site i love playing at for both money and free tourneys is Bodog. They have awesome tournaments and their players range from the awful and unorthodox to great and balanced.

I have always played the free games on partypoker from 888. But this one sounds like alot of fun. I used to be VERY good a poker but after 2 months of getting one or two low winning cards and not even being able to win hands i lost my good playing and ive never been patient enough since. I adore poker so one day i hope i have the patience to kick butt again :)
