13And God said to Noe:
“The time of every man has come before Me, because the earth was filled of unrighteousness from them, and behold I Myself will destroy them and the earth. 14Therefore make for thyself an ark of four corners out of wood; thou shall make the ark rooms and thou shall asphalt it from inside and from outside with asphalt. 15And thou shall make the ark thus: the length of the ark three hundred cubits and the breadth fifty cubits and the height of it thirty cubits; 16thou shall make the ark with a window and thou shall complete it into a cubit from above; and thou shall make the door of the ark out of the side; thou shall make it with lower, second, and third floors" [Genesis 6:1-16 quoted from GENESIS & EXODUS (Greek to English)].
One cubit is equivalent to 18 inches.

I actually don't know but it's given in the response above and it's wonderful to know that the size is such.

Genesis 6:15 in the Bible tells us the Ark's dimensions were at least 135 meters long (300 cubits), 22.5 meters wide (50 cubits), and 13.5 meters high (30 cubits). That's 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high! It could have been larger because several larger-sized cubits were used. But the 45-centimeter (18-inch) cubit is long enough to show the enormous size of the Ark.

What I know is that it's big. I do not know the actual size. And so the ark was built for 150 years! It's hard to believe.

me, too. I don't have any idea how big it was. I'm not even sure if this was the only one built or there are others which were taken out to make the story more overwhelming and magical. Disasters happen and this story isn't an exception.
