What is your heritage?

My family heritage is 2nd generation Irish and 3rd generation Welsh. My dad was born in Londonderry Ireland (now called Derry) in 1921, he moved with his family of 10 children when he was four years old. My mother's mom and dad were Welsh and came over in the early 1900's. Living in southern Alberta Canada and raising eight children. Before my mom died I had asked her to write down as much as she could about family members in both sides of the family..the MULLANS AND THE JONES'. I am just starting my queries into starting a family tree for both sides. I find that the information I am learning is quite interesting and there is much to learn. Any help from any geneologists out there would be great! Do you know where your great, great, great grand parents came from? Do you have a family tree?
