how to help others in your own way?

lots of people suffer specialy here in philippines,where crisis spreads,high poverty,less jobs high crime rate, lots of hungry people,children dies at very young age, but what can you do to share your part,to help others even in your own way?

i normally donate my old stuff to orphanage and home for the aged...or during christmas, i give rice and clothes also to those who sing carols at home
