Adam And Eve ?

I have to question this. We do not experience Paradise, but a fearful reality of being mortals on a threatening planet. We could easily starve to death or be eaten by predatory animals, or die from drinking bad water or inability to find water, or die from diseases or injuries. This was not Adam's and Eve's reality. Why would anyone desire to be as the gods without these threats to life and realization of our mortality? What is to be gained when beginning with Paradise? What did they imagine they could do with the power of the gods that wasn't already done?

Well I guess they might have stived to know the amswer to the questions many of us are still asking. How is this possible? How were we created? Are we alone in this world/universe? There is always knowledge to be gained. whether or not it is worth the loss I don't know.
