Millions of people died from lung cancer each year. most of these people who died are smokers. It is quite obviouse that cigarette is the prime criminal that kills these people. So why do not government still allow people to produce this harmful product? why not ban the production of it?

Hell no, I'm not a smoker but here's a good fact that's often ignored: there are millions of other people who smoke and never so much as get a little cough from it.
I know a few..they've smoked for years and they're absolutely healthy.
I believe everyone should have a choice..if they wanna do something that's bad for them -- if indeed it is -- let them. Stunt men have dangerous jobs..plenty of them die every year but would you ask them to quit the job they love most simply because it could kill them? No.
Anyway..that's my opinion.

May i understand what you say in this way? We know something is harmful to people. this thing may kill people. if some guys still want to take this some thing, and want to get hurt or killed. we will let them do it. we will not take any measures to prevent them from doing it. Hope I have not misinterpreted what you siad.

One minor correction..yes, it kills people. But it does not kill all people who do it or all people around them.
That's one of two points I made.
The second is, it's their choice. If they want to do it..let them. People around them..they can LEAVE, they don't have to stick around and breathe in the smoke. As I said..the matter is choice.

*shakes my head*
I'm not going to tell people they're wrong to try to talk people out of smoking.
But I don't think the smokers haven't realized that it could possibly kill them, people tell them everyday. Strangers, coworkers, friends, family members..once again it's left to choice.
I don't believe it's really a problem. My point of view they're way too many people on the earth already..so many in fact that we'e starting to destroy our own planet. So, I won't tell people not to smoke..I'll let them do it. Even though I do care about humanity as a whole..I think it won't hurt us too much if our population gets cut down. And it's their decision..if people want to chance dying it's fine with me.
But again..that's me, my beliefs don't have to be popular but at least they're mine lol.

I am not a smoker myself but I respect everyones right to smoke if they so do wish, if they make it illegal then some people are still going to make it and sell it at higher prices because it is illegal...people should be able to smoke if they wish to.

May I interpret what you said in this way? Each person has his or her right todo something. it is their human right. they also have the right to shorten their lives? and we should not do anything to stop it.
Thank you for your reply.

ya let them pick their poison. as if banning is going to help them. they'll find some other ways to satisfy themselves.

they pay for killing themselves. it is so ironical. even so, they know what they are doing. they still persist in doing it.nobody can help them.

agree, at least in public places. Those smokers should care the other peoples' health and feeling.even some other peolpe around do not say anything about it, that does not mean they do not care.
