Hi Kiddies,
Did anyone else get a look at the photos from the Mars Rovers? There's a few websites which have accumulated lots of them - just do a bit of a search and you can find them.
BUT here's a disturbing bit of info. Several photos actually included the colour calibration charts which are included with the images produced by the Mars Rovers, and guess what? The colour charts were WAY off, with the colour of the images (including the colour charts, which is what gives the game away) being shifted way up towards the RED end of the spectrum.
Guess what happens when you take these images and adjust the colours to get the colour charts back where they should be?
The sky turns blue (!).
Which means either ONE of just TWO possible things -
1. Mars has an atmosphere not unlike Earth's. And they don't want us to know about it.
OR...
2. The Mars Rovers aren't actually roving about on Mars at all. You figure it out...

You sound very educated. Are you a scientist? That is a scary scenerio. Well, not so much scary, as interesting. It would not surprise me to know that someone in power is manipulating the truth about mars, Iraq, Al Quada, Saddam, UFOs, or anything else. Do you have any more information on this subject? Very good discussion!

Hi,
no, not a scientist, at least not professionally - just a somewhat technical background, but no more than most...
it's a while since I read the original info on this subject, but there's still plenty of authentic material still readily available - eg cop this -
http://home.comcast.net/~truecolorsofmars/page2.htm
Those are authentic photos that apparently slipped through NASA's censoship net - once in the public domain, there's not much that they could do about it.
The implication, from what I understand, is that the atmosphere involved is both much denser and has much more oxygen in it than we have been led to believe is the case on Mars.
All good food for thought...

Well,
the thread was labelled "The Smoke & Mirrors" and was placed in the Mars interest area. The text immediately refers to the Mars Rovers and the images allegedly captured on the Martian surface by same.
Can you suggest how one might have made the discussion more descriptive, short of putting the opening paragraph into the title?
