Why do we need education or what's the aim of educating?

As a teacher, sometimes i feel we have gone too far away from the true aims of education. Students are taking exams all day long, even at night. All students, from primary school students to senior school students, as well as all the teachers are doing the same thing.

A practcal idea. Most of people are learning to make a living. Frankly speaking, i just learn to satisfy my interest. If I am not interested in it, I will give it up sooner or later.

Education is necessary to strong our basics and fundamentals, but yes nowadays children are burdened with studies so badly that they r losing their childhood to it...It is also because of social pressure to do well and competition around them...

To solve the problem, the government should take some forceful measures. Children are the future of a country. When they are burdened with so heavy studies, they have no chance to develop fully, both mentally and physically.
