Think “easy.” No matter what you’re doing, if you feel overwhelmed, ask yourself this question: “How easy and how enjoyable can I make this task?” Chances are you’ll come up with a golden idea or two that’ll alleviate some of the stress you’re feeling. Stop measuring yourself based on how much you get done in a given day. Instead, start celebrating how much you DISCOVER as you go along. Let go of being the world’s hardest worker and embrace the role of adventurer. Listen to the people you love best as if you’ve never met them before. That means don’t assume that you know how they feel or what they’re thinking. Listen for who they are NOW, what they’re passionate about NOW, and what they’re wanting to share with you NOW. Look for the magical moments. OK – to some people this is going to sound a little hokey, but you’ll be surprised how good it makes you feel and how much it feeds your spirit: Find those brief moments in your life – like when they’re playing your wedding song in the supermarket, or when someone’s made you cry with laughter. Grab your spouse or the person sharing the experience with you and say, “Right now – isn’t this great? Here we are together, and we love each other. Aren’t we lucky?!” Not only are you taking an important moment to appreciate your life, but you’re helping someone else appreciate theirs

Yes, I think most people, including me, are guilty of living in the past or in the future. Those you cannot change. We need to be living thinking of NOW and enjoying every minute of it.
