please reply what is the diffrence between love and affection in detail and how it happens

To me 'Affection' is a feeling of liking(someone or something) and
'Love' is - "to have strong feelings of affection for (another adult) and be romantically and sexustally attracted to them,or to feel great affection and caring for family and friends".
