Patriotism versus ambition

Everyday we meet people who have migrated form their motherland in quest for better education or good jobs. Once they are settled there, very few of them want to go back to their native place or country. I feel people who don't go back have doubts about the quality of life they will get once they go back and other is status symbol. I would like to know people's opinion about them. Do they think that after having a basic education and support at their native place, they should give back some of it in terms of services or other supports. What people feel about ones whco don't want to come back to their native places, are these people less patriotic then ones who have been staying there. Lets have some preliminary views and then if it goes well, then we would take it up further.
