I dont think that the question was about the style of hair you have but the condition you keep it in.
But I agree with you that people will have respect for who you are-not who you appear to be but it does no harm in letting people see he best of ho you are.

definitely. people's hygiene are seen not only on their nails but most importantly with how they manage their hair. you do not need to sport the latest hairstyles or the most expensive coloring, but hello, a simple comb/brush can do wonders. and so much for dandruff! there's so many products to at least tame that situation so there's really no excuse to have a dirty lion's mane, really. i have short hair now, i had long hair way way back, but there shouldnt be any excuse to maintain your hair no matter what length. i just hate it when people have messed up hair and smelly ones at that. i take public transport, and eek, some people never shampoo or treat their dandruff. and one more thing: no combing in public, please.

not really that way, cos there are lots of people who are very organised in their life but they may not pay much attention to their hair or the face. the real impression you make on people is not cos of your hair but cos of your overall personality and your confidense.

I agree if you look after your appearance it means you take the time to look after other aspects of your life as well. It also shows that you take pride in yourself and care about what others think of you.
