So you routinely get by on a few hours' sleep? you may be making yourself fatter. Researchers at the university of chicago studied a group of healthy volunteers who were allowed to sleep for just four hours a night for two nights and found thier bodies showed an 18% decrease in liptin, a hormone that tells the brain you've eaten enough, and 28% increase in ghrelin, which triggers hunger. A different study of 18,000 people also found those on five hours' sleep a night are 50% more likely to be obese as those getting 7-9 hours.
you how many hours you sleep in one day?
