India has got a vast resources as far as knowledge based workforce is concerned.Every IT sector company wants to and has opened it cetre in india .The reason apart from cost advantage is clear and simple .Easy availability of people with required skills. My point is if we have such a good situation why are we not any where in Research aspact of IT why cant we win not even a single nobel prize. Why cant we people do it even when w eshout from the roof tops that we have a average IQ better than American's.Meaning we are a lot better than them,we are a lot more creative yet we have our hands empty .We need to do some thing about this otherwise the future of this bustling 1 billion plus nation is doomed .Mark my words if we don't think a russle something up we going down .Please give it a thought .The situation is serious and alredy little bit out of control

i think there was a suddent req for many people in the it field so they recruited all types of people whether they have quility or not so most of the non brain and only data entry type people are in the field and that is why there is nothing new comming out and so there will be a saturation in the field. it is boiund to happen yes you are right now is the time to researcha nd make imporovements it can survice like this only if you are in it field the imp thing you have to do is keep yourself updated. same is with the industry.

buddy your question in itself is answer. avg indian has better iq thn american but tell how many iitans reside in india after thei grads? even if they reside, they work for whom? its mnc. in nasa indians hv the highest percentage among the foriegn scientisits. so we do research but not for indian company but for mnc. moreover all the gr8 companies which are really interested in research except tata are foreigner. whether it is at&t, dell or whtever. the fundamental base is much lacking in india. wht u say?
