I dont think obesity was an issue in biblical times. Just as the previous poster stated, food was different and there were no general public means of travel. Everything was very physical.. so I doubt it.

I don't know, I will look, however I wouldn't think so. To make any meals and clothes was very physical and they had to walk everywhere. There food also didn't have chemicals or preservatives in it so their digestive systems worked better. So they ate healthy and their lives required lots of exercise.
