Mine was a book called Moon Mouse. I, of course, purchased it the minute I had kids of my own too!

Oh Dr. Seuss is an all time favorite of many! My kids adored green eggs and ham & I always had to make them green eggs and ham after reading it! lol

Make Way For Ducklings by Robert McCloskey
This book has the most beautiful illustrations and scenes of Boston. When I had kids, my mom bought me a brand new copy. I think that sharing a book with your children that you enjoyed is one of the nicest gifts you can ever give your children.

Mine was Hans Christian Fairy Tales. Over fifty years later, I still have the book and now I read it to my grandchildren. They too love the stories.
