I love Third day too! One of my other favorites is Switchfoot. I hope to be able to see them in concert someday. My all time favorite Christian music group is FFH. I could listen to their CDs over and over. They are great in concert as well. Some of the other groups I like are Jeremy Camp, Chris Rice, Cademon's Call, Audio Adrenaline, and the newsboys.

Right now my favorite is Casting Crowns. The CD Lifesong is absolutely spectacular.
There are 4 or 5 songs on it that really minister to me.
I'm in a rough spot in my life and "Praise you in the storm," "Can anybody hear her", "Stained Glass Masquerade" and another one really hit it for me.

Thanks, I will get that CD. I am sorry that you are going through a rough spot. I will keep you in my prayers.

I like a lot of Christian bands so picking a few favorites will be hard! I'd have to say that my top 3 favorite artists are Sanctus Real, Rebecca St. James, and Hawk Nelson. All of them have amazing voices and have great songs. I've even seen Sanctus Real in concert! They were awesome!

Christian music is pretty much the only music I care for. Occasionally, I hear a song from another genre that is uplifting, but usually, I just don't enjoy other types. I absolutely love Third Day. Ironically, though they're from my state too, I've never seen them in concert! I loved Petra too, and was really sad to see them retire last year, though I understand they're doing great things individually now. I love Mercy Me, and NewSong too. For individual artists, I like Ginny Owens, Michael W. Smith, LOVE Bebo Norman and Chris Rice, and Nicole C. Mullen. In addition to these contemporary Christian artists, I love southern gospel (although it always makes me cry! lol), and gospel bluegrass, like the Isaacs.

I like Andrew Peterson alot (he's a Christian folk singer). I also like Newsboys Adoration album and Devotion album. MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Jars of Clay, Caedmon's Call are all good too.

Well, seeing as you said "group" I would say 3rd day, but Chris Tomlin is someone I really enjoy listening to. His words are so rich!

I am not very good about names, so I am not sure if I have heard Chris Tomlin or not. Anyway, thanks for the response

Kenny Marks! I do own a lot of Michael W. Smith, however. I remember the first time I ever heard him. I had fallen asleep on the couch and woke up in the middle of the night, the tv was still on and I heard him singing. I opened my eyes and there he sat, playing a piano on the beach, singing. I immediately went out and bought some of his CD's. However, Kenny Marks, "Nobody Else But Jesus" is my favorite!

I will have to check him out. I don't know if I have heard him. The Christian station here is a little behind the times.

I actually got to have casting crowns play at the church that I used to go to in FL. Don't live there anymore but all the casting crowns were either members there or their parents were. Interestingly, so is steven curtis chapman's parents. It is a big church. Great music.
